Short Term Service Learning Teams
We believe that coming alongside our team, in our community is important and impacting for our community and for our partners. We offer the opportunity to live in community with us to your group.
The world truly has become a global village. We wish to expose our community to new and different worldviews, but we also desire for our visitors to leave our community changed. Groups come to work and learn. It is important to us that your experience with us equips you not only with memories, but also some tools that will help you continue your impact in the world even after you return home.
We are committed to making our program as affordable as possible.
Summer Interns
Futuro Lleno de Esperanza accepts summer interns for 2-5 week sessions. Interns learn about NGO management, group organization, and help to plan and run our summer day camp alongside our staff.
Interns have the opportunity to live in a homestay or independently (organized) and to explore Dominican culture in their free time.
Fees for summer interns vary depending on length of stay and living arrangement.
Vocational Visitors
We have been blessed with a number of vocational visitors over the years - from people who are vacationing on the island to those who come with the purpose to serve. These visitors have brought their expertise in many areas: medicine, photography, psychology, art, and more.
If you are visiting the island or would like to visit the island and have a skill to share with us, please let us know! We love to enhance our programming.
