Summer Interns

Are you ready to immerse yourself into a different culture? Learn and practice Spanish? Live in community? Serve and learn? 

Is the answer to these questions is yes, our summer intern program is the program for you! 

Futuro Lleno de Esperanza is currently recruiting high school graduates, and college students for our three-week internship program in the Dominican Republic (18 years old and up).

During your three weeks in the DR, you will learn about non-profit management, create relationships, participate in a summer day-camp, work with Dominican and Haitian children, dance merengue, swim in the transparent tropical waters, jump off of waterfalls, visit the colonial city of Columbus, and so much more.

The intern program-fee of $695 USD includes:

• shared lodging in our mission center 
• typical Dominican lunch and dinner each day (interns organize breakfast on their own)
• all project materials
• land transportation to and from work sites each day
• 24 hour on-call emergency support
• airport pick-up and drop-off
• two excursions (beach/capital city)

The fee does not include airfare, travel insurance, or medical insurance in country.
